ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Nōnen Títi is a pen-name and symbolically meant to represent any reader who sometimes feels lost as an individual between billions of others. Each character in the books is such a non-entity, each with different needs than the people around them and each book tries to address issues that deal with the way people live together. Being a writer makes me one of those non-entities, trying to have my voice heard.
The publishers who allow me to self-publish are wonderful, but it takes time and only a few books are available immediately. Reactions to the website or the books would be helpful in deciding which to publish next.
I chose self-publishing because it allows me freedom in what I write about, even if these are not the accepted popular issues. I write because I believe that we can’t keep ignoring the problems of our generation and hope they’ll go away. The books are there to help initiate discussions and take a fresh look at what we’re doing.
I draw from my own life experiences, having lived in seven different countries and from a background in medicine, education and from philosophy. I am a member of the ‘western’ society, regardless of which country I live in, and as such I believe I’m allowed to criticize it. However, my stories deal with social and emotional issues that are not bound by cultural or geographical borders. The only way forward for humanity is to focus on what we have in common as people of Earth.
