PART THREE

Much like the first colonists to America and Australia had to battle diseases and hunger, so the colonists to Kun DJar have their problems. Their new home isn’t as peaceful as it seemed at first and neither the weather nor the ecology are what they expected. It is one thing to set up the prefab homes and build a town, but who will do the dirty work and who picks up the pieces when it all falls apart?

Was Daili really that naïve in hoping for the simple life? With winters as long as a DJar year, it becomes too easy to lose hope. But not everybody is that easily defeated.
