When Kaie learns that moving to Lohland means leaving behind his comfortable home, his language, his calendar and all the celebrations he was used to, he decides to be uncooperative until he can leave his new 'country'. But he doesn't count on falling in love with the architecture and engineering works needed to keep the Lohlanders safe from global warming.
